ITF NATIONAL LEVEL OFFICIATING (CHAIR AND LINE UMPIRING) COURSE
STA/ITF National Level Officiating Course is conducted annually to give new officials a general introduction to the rules of tennis, code of conduct, chair & line umpiring.
The details of the course are as follows:

** Practical Training: Successful participants of the course must officiate 2 of STA's tournaments before STA can issue them a certificate (Pass / Merit / Distinction) as qualified chair/line umpires for local tournaments. This must be completed within 12 months from the date the course ends, failing which the certificate will not be issued at all. No officiating fees will be paid during the practical training.
** Passed Applicant will receive direct contact by the Tournament Coordinator to officiating in the STA Local Competitions / International Competitions / National School Games.
