This assessment is for players completing the Orange stage and preparing to be evaluated for progression to Green. Review the criteria below and register when ready.
These questions assess stroke quality, clean ball contact, variety, control, and the ability to manage more advanced Orange tennis situations.
Sustains a backhand rally of at least 7 consecutive shots with control.
Achieves clean contact on approximately 75–80% of rally shots under Orange pace.
Produces topspin on groundstrokes on most rally balls.
Executes controlled volleys with purposeful depth or direction on at least 7 of 10 attempts.
Controls overhead shots from around the service line on at least 6 of 10 attempts.
These questions look at rally consistency, directional control, adaptability, and whether the player can manage longer Orange exchanges with intent.
Sustains a cooperative rally of 10–12 consecutive shots.
Changes rally height or speed intentionally on at least 3 occasions per session.
Maintains rally consistency while moving side-to-side on most exchanges.
Maintains cross-court rally direction for at least 8 consecutive shots.
Redirects the ball down the line with control on at least 3 of 10 attempts.
These questions assess footwork efficiency, recovery habits, balance, and the ability to move safely and effectively at Orange level.
Demonstrates a split-step or preparation movement on opponent contact on most points.
Adjusts recovery position based on shot direction on most points.
Uses drop-step and crossover steps appropriately on overhead recovery on most attempts.
Controls forward movement to shorter balls on most opportunities.
Lands on the front foot after serving and returns to ready position on most serves.
These questions focus on point structure, scoring, tactical awareness, and whether the player can handle Orange match situations more independently.
Keeps score correctly across games with no more than one correction.
Recognizes opponent positioning and adjusts shot choice on some rallies.
Chooses when to rally safely versus attack on most neutral points.
Transitions forward toward the net appropriately after an attacking shot on some points.
Applies basic tactical ideas (space, recovery, consistency) during most games played.
These questions assess focus, resilience, independence, communication, and emotional readiness for the increased demands of Green tennis.
Shows consistent effort regardless of score or opponent on most points.
Re-focuses within 1–2 points after making errors.
Prepares and manages equipment, water, and supplies independently throughout sessions.
Resolves minor disputes calmly or seeks appropriate support on most occasions.
Demonstrates emotional readiness for the increased pace, space, and demands of Green tennis across multiple sessions.
Final progression decisions will be based on the official assessment criteria used by the coaching team.
